We didn't tell anybody that Santa was coming and the surprise factor put it over the top! I think the adults got a bigger kick out of it than the little kids. This is the 3rd time we have used this service in the last 4 years. (We took last year off). It was the best yet. Next year when we book, we want the same Santa. They are fantastic. The best way I know how to describe it is this.....We provided Santa with a list of facts on each child that Santa could reference in his "nice" section of the book. We had a 9 year old coming to the party that was questioning whether or not Santa was real and was convinced that even if he was, there was NO WAY the real Santa would be at someone's house this close to Christmas b/c there is no way he would have time. My friend was convinced she was going to have to have the "santa talk" this year with her son. Then in walks Santa into our house. He calls each child up one by one and they sit on his lap and he talks to that child as if he really knows who they are (and of course he does, he's Santa after all). Upon leaving I said to this boy's mom, "So what did he have to say?". To which she replied, "It was awesome, he came up to me and said, Mom, that is the real Santa" and he has been talking about it for the last 3 days! The kids absolutely love this event! It truly brings the Christmas spirit to each and every one of us and we appreciate what Santa and Mrs. Claus did for us! That's why we want the same Santa next year!!! FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE - Our family received a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus - they were wonderful - took their time warming up our grandchildren - one -6 yr old, two - 2 year olds and a 6 month old. The 6 year old had never had a picture wih Santa or even talked to Santa - he loved the whole experience. We have had an annual Christmas gathering of family and friends for the past 24 years. This year, for the first time, we had a visit from Santa & his elf Holly. We were thrilled! My wife asked one of our sons, "WAS SANTA WORTH $100"; He said, "EVERY BIT OF IT." It took a minute for the people to get over the shock of Santa and Peppermint coming through the front door, but Santa and his Ho-Ho-Ho's loosened everybody up right fast like. After he gave out the presents and read "The Night Before Christmas" we have him "Twas the Night Before Christmas, In Texas That Is". He read this story, and later said he had never heard it before. I think he enjoyed it as much as everybody else. Next year the grandchildren will be down after Christmas, and we may ask for a return engagement from Santa and Peppermint. They pictures are exceptional quality and the poses we have are great! My son is smiling and totally at ease and they didn't rush!
